Chieftain AI is Atom Digital's human-in-the-loop AI platform. Chieftain AI is currently in beta, and a full release date has not been announced. For beta customers, the scope, usage limits, support and any continuation after the beta are agreed before activation.
What does human-in-the-loop mean in practice?
In Chieftain AI, human-in-the-loop means AI can prepare information or propose an action while your team keeps responsibility for decisions that need review or approval. Workflows follow agreed policies and approval paths.
Who can get the free three-month AI web chat trial, and what happens afterwards?
Eligible Atom Digital customers can try the Chieftain AI web chat beta free for the first three months. The trial scope, usage limits, support and options after the trial are confirmed before activation. You are not moved onto a paid plan automatically when the trial ends.
What kinds of questions can the Chieftain AI web chat answer?
The Chieftain AI web chat beta answers agreed enquiry topics, based on information your business has approved for customers. People stay involved where review or escalation is needed. The chat is not intended to answer every possible question.
What happens if we reach the trial limits or want to stop?
Usage limits and your options after the Chieftain AI trial are agreed before activation, and paid continuation is never automatic. Check the terms agreed for your beta before relying on continued access.
What happens if the Chieftain AI web chat can't answer or gets something wrong?
When the Chieftain AI web chat beta can't answer confidently, it hands the conversation to a member of your team during working hours, and takes a message outside them. Like any AI, it can make mistakes, so Atom Digital does not promise every answer will be correct. Report any wrong answer to Atom Digital so it can be corrected.
Can a customer ask to speak to a real person?
Yes. During your working hours, the Chieftain AI web chat beta hands the conversation over to a member of your team. Outside working hours, it takes the customer's message so your team can reply later. The working hours used are agreed when the chat is set up.
Can the AI chat book appointments, give binding prices or change customer records?
Not in the standard Chieftain AI beta setup. The web chat answers agreed enquiry topics and hands over to your team. An appointment request from the chat is not a confirmed booking until your team has checked availability, and prices the chat mentions are not a binding quote.
How do we teach the AI our business information and keep it up to date?
You agree with Atom Digital the topics the Chieftain AI web chat should cover and approve the information it uses before activation. When your services, prices or policies change, tell Atom Digital so the chat's information can be updated. Keeping one approved version of each fact helps the chat give consistent answers.
